These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of LaunchMate AI (the "Service"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. Your account

You must be at least 16 years old and provide accurate information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. What the Service is

LaunchMate AI provides AI-assisted tools for writing resumes and cover letters, preparing for interviews, comparing your profile to job descriptions, and tracking applications. It is a productivity and preparation tool.

3. No employment guarantee

We do not guarantee interviews, job offers or employment of any kind. Outcomes depend on factors outside our control. We are not a recruiter, staffing agency or career counselling service, and we do not submit applications on your behalf.

4. AI-generated content

Output produced by the Service may contain inaccuracies. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and editing any content before sending it to an employer. Never submit content that misrepresents your experience, qualifications or credentials.

5. Subscriptions and payment

• Free accounts include limited monthly AI usage that resets each calendar month.
• Pro subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through our payment processor.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled.
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until the end of the paid period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create false or fraudulent credentials.
• Upload content you do not have the right to use.
• Attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, overload or disrupt the Service.
• Resell or redistribute access to the Service.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the resumes, letters and other content you upload or create. You grant us a limited licence to process that content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.

8. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe pose a security or legal risk.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be communicated in-app or by email before they take effect.
