How the resume analysis works
Most rejections happen before a human reads your resume. Applicant tracking systems rank candidates on how closely the resume language matches the posting, and recruiters skim the top third for evidence that you have done the job before.
The analyzer compares two documents — your resume and one job description — and reports where they diverge. You get a percentage match, a section-level breakdown (experience, skills, education, summary) and a prioritised list of fixes ordered by how much each one moves the score.
- Upload a PDF or DOCX resume, or paste the text directly
- Paste the full job description, including the requirements list
- Review the score, keyword gaps and rewrite suggestions
- Apply the edits in the built-in resume builder and re-run the analysis
