This policy explains what data LaunchMate AI collects, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

Data we collect

Account data: name, email address and authentication identifiers.
Content you provide: resumes, cover letters, job descriptions, interview answers, application notes.
Usage data: which AI features you run and when, used to enforce plan limits and improve reliability.
Billing data: subscription status and customer identifiers. Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor and never touch our servers.

How we use it

To provide the features you explicitly run.
To enforce free and paid plan allowances.
To send transactional email such as welcome and billing notifications.
To secure the Service and investigate abuse.

AI processing

When you run an AI feature, the relevant content is sent to our AI provider to generate a response. We do not use your content to train third-party models, and we do not sell your data.

Sharing

We share data only with the infrastructure providers required to run the Service — hosting and database, AI inference, payment processing and transactional email — and only to the extent needed. We never share your documents with employers or recruiters.

Storage and security

Your data is stored in an access-controlled database with row-level security so that only your account can read your records. Uploaded files are stored in a private bucket and served through short-lived signed links.

Retention

We keep your content while your account is active. Deleting a document removes it from the Service; deleting your account removes your personal data, subject to limited records we must retain for legal and accounting purposes.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data. Contact privacy@launchmate.ai and we will respond within 30 days.

We use only essential cookies and local storage needed to keep you signed in and remember your preferences.
